To learn Thai, we chose Phuket. Of course, the teaching structure is different from the Russian one — the approach to students, the approach to organizing lessons, the learning atmosphere, and the level of teaching. Rawai School has teachers from Thailand.
The first school day was an introductory day – acquaintance with teachers, a group in which 5-10 people usually study, depending on the season. All the following days were really stressful in terms of the fact that study is quite serious, a lot of material is studied in the lessons, and homework is also given. My classes lasted about 2 hours a day, I spent about 1-2 hours a day on homework.
Teen classes began at 1 p.m. and ended at 3 p.m., so I could spend the morning time and time after six on entertainment, excursions, they can be visited both with school students and separately. Phuket is an incredibly beautiful, interesting and multinational island, therefore, you can see here the culture of Thais, as well as Chinese, Koreans, etc.
That is, in your free time you won’t be bored. The school takes care of your comfort, so if you have any questions, you can always clarify the information or solve any problems with your supervisor.
It was also very interesting to visit the islands of Phi Phi, or as the locals say Pi Pi, but among our Pi-Pi it is associated with another 🙂 therefore it did not take root. Phuket is a resort island with an incredible number of parks and beaches, so if you like a seaside vacation, you can combine the useful and the pleasant. Friendly and polite Thais, the beauty of Phuket, a summer mood, a long-awaited vacation in a new country – all this creates a positive and joyful atmosphere … and of course, acquired knowledge that will remain with you forever! 🙂
